The new Metabo power tools are equipped with 18 V LiHDX batteries using Tabless technology. For the curious, in these 18-volt LiHDX batteries, the internal structure of the tabless cells has been modified so that the anode and cathode are fully connected to the positive and negative poles. The bottlenecks formed by the "tabs" are eliminated and the electrical resistance of the cells is greatly reduced. This unleashes maximum power for the user: greater performance, much longer run times during demanding tasks, and shorter charging processes. What's more, the LiHDX batteries take power to an unbeatable level. Thanks to their extremely high performance values, even the toughest jobs can be tackled more easily and quickly. To top it off, Metabo tools are part of the CAS (Cordless Alliance System) a system that brings together over 400 machines and 40 brands into a single battery platform.
