The sensitivity of people and organisations to the issue of pollution has been growing gradually over time, but what is tangibly being done to reduce pollution?
The European Commission has set itself the goal – by 2050 – of reducing water and soil pollution to levels that are not harmful to people and the environment. The World Health Organization has also intervened in recent years by tightening its global air quality guidelines, a document issued on 22 September 2021 with the aim of protecting the health of populations from the risks of pollution. The intervention of international bodies has become necessary to protect the health and well-being of people, as well as that of the environment around us.
For several years, Meccanocar has also embraced the cause of environmental protection through a daily commitment to researching and developing products with a low environmental impact while also being safe for operators to use.
