SIMP-Seal 55 UV-resistant sealant adhesive

  • MS multifunctional polymer sealant and adhesive, resistant to weathering, ageing and UV rays. Excellent for tough and resistant bonding whilst ensuring high elasticity.
  • Suitable for processing purposes in the boat and ship construction industry, in the car sector, as well as for transport on buses, caravans, motorhomes, refrigerated vehicles, containers, air duct manufacturing and in the building industry for use on bare and painted metal surfaces, composite materials and masonry or natural stone.
  • Also glues wet, damp and submerged surfaces. Does not shrink, has no harmful emissions, does not stain or corrode surfaces. Can be painted over with many types of wet-on-wet paints. Resistant to temperatures up to 120°C.
  • Certifications: ISEGA CE Reg. 1935/2004 for food contact. IMO Resolution MSC.307 (88) ? Fire Testing Procedure Code (FTP Code 20109 ? An. 1, part 5. EN 15651-1/3/4 (Type F INT-EXT/XS3/PW EXT-INT). EN 45545-2 R1 and R7.
  • Compliant with LEED iEQc 4.1; SCAQMD Rule 1168; BAAQMD Reg. 8 Rule 51.
