SIMP-Seal 650 UV-resistant sealant

  • Highly elastic sealing adhesive with strong bonding properties, high resistance to UV rays and atmospheric agents. Does not crack or flake and does not yellow over time. Ideal for gluing and caulking teak decks on boats and ships.
  • Extremely suitable for sealing on almost any type of substrate, from wood to raw and painted metal surfacess, fibreglass, composite materials, masonry and natural stone.
  • Also glues wet, damp and submerged surfaces. Does not shrink, has no harmful emissions, does not stain or corrode surfaces. Can be painted over with many types of wet-on-wet paints. Resistant to temperatures up to 120°C.
  • Certifications: ISEGA CE Reg. 1935/2004 for food contact. EMICODE EC1 Plus protocol. EUROFINS IAC GOLD protocol. EN 45545-2 R1 & R7. A+ rating on VOC emissions.
  • Compliant with LEED iEQc 4.1; SCAQMD Rule 1168; BAAQMD Reg. 8 Rule 51. CARB VOC regulation.
