Product Details
Snow Socks
SKU: 4680002200
- Recycled polyester snow socks that completely wrap around the tyre.
- They are recommended for use only on short stretches of road or when there is a loss of traction. The exclusive fabric structure penetrates the slippery water film, thanks to its fibres that pass through this layer, giving traction to the vehicle again.
- By also covering the rim of the tyre, the SnowGecko sock prevents the accumulation of snow inside the rim, minimising the risk of sudden blockages while driving, does not hinder the rolling of the tyre, and prevents the sock from suddenly coming off the tyre.
- Certified according to the new European standard EN16662-1:2020. Approved by the main car manufacturers and according to the specific standard for ONORM V5121 snow socks.
- This European type approval replaces the previous one and equals metal snow chains and textile anti-skid devices. The only exception is Austria, where reference is still made to the outdated V5117 standard.
- They are compatible with all electronic safety and driving assistance systems (ABS, ESP, etc.) and with all types of alloy wheels, even when metal chains are prohibited.
- Lightweight, easy to store, reusable and machine washable up to 40°C.
- Greater reuse range than chains; self-centring, quick to install and easy to remove. Tested to last more than 100 km.
- For resales, an assortment of socks is recommended that reflects the sales percentages by size suggested in the table.
